Ode to Voters

A small minority controls what’s done

The majority reckons it’s not much fun.

When the silent majority goes under cover

They can reap the benefit with one another.

In Voters Network they can rock the boat

For richer or poorer each gets one vote.

But voting is not what gives them powers

It is using the vote to enforce what is ours.

The voter who always votes the same

Foregoes that power, it’s a bit of a shame.

Politicians can’t act if you don’t let them know

So you guide them along and reap what you sow.
