One reason people think they can’t influence government is that they try to do it by letters to the editor or street protests. When you want to influence parliament give them the same courtesy you would give your children, teenagers, partner and in-laws. If you would persuade them to do something for you, by writing to the newspapers, or demonstrating in the local shopping centre by all means try it on politicians.
