From Voters Interest Groups to National Monitor

If you care about our people and our nation enough to act, please help us expand our Voters Interest Groups into a National Ministries Monitor. The Robodebt government extortion racket, chronic housing shortage, preceded by wholesale child abuse in the childcare sector and accompanied by rise of organised crime indicates clearly that our elected Members of Parliament do not see it as their responsibility to manage these issue alone.

Numbers tell the story

The numbers tell the story. 17 million of us Aussie voters outnumber our 226 Federal MPs 75,000:1.  State voters outnumber state MPs up to 35,000:1. It is obviously easier for us voters to inform and persuade our MPs, particularly if we use the easy Votergram Service than it is  for each of them to find out what voters in their own electorates and elsewhere know of the government services. So we must keep our eyes on what is going on in the government departments and ministries and report any failings to the parliament.

Killers on the loose

Failure to prosecute the Robodebt extortionists, from the public servants to the Ministers, destroys our faith in the Federal Government. How could we ever trust them again? Innocent people killed themselves because of this ruthless extortion program. But we have also seen the government fail to ensure that Australia could properly accommodate the 3 million migrants they brought into Australia in the last 25 years and particularly since covid. One would be excused for thinking that before inviting vast numbers of people into our country to live, the MPs would check on the housing, transport and other services like justice, education and health to see they were adequate. This smacks of negligence, incompetence and dishonesty.

The Fix

We can understand why MPs do not see fixing these problems as their responsibility alone. But when we have alerted them all by Votergram to problems over the past 4 decades and particularly when we have also provided solutions, they invariably moved quickly to fix the problems. Voters Network, backed by the Votergram Service and Voterlobby would form a persuasive National Ministries Monitor Our democratic right Centralised power exacerbates corruption, neglect and  injustice whereas widely shared power tends to reduce or eliminate it. Too many people to agree to be dishonest, too many to keep it secret and too many to share the proceeds. That is why us establishing a national network based around government departments or ministries is the ideal solution for beating corruption, neglect and incompetence. We become the eyes and ears of parliament. If parliament does not fix the problems then we  elect one that will. That is our democratic right.

The more the better

Join at Voters Network . The more voters we have the greater our ability to do the job and the more credibility we will have. Perhaps you could invite your contact list.  We will issue a list of the government ministries so that people can indicate which ones they would like to monitor. It will not be onerous. Just keep your eye on the media and if you see problems  we will use the Votergram Service  for getting them to parliament. Just our existence will lift performances and perhaps even government productivity. We will need Interest Group leaders.
